Vietnam has just opened the borders for the tourist after a long pandemic. The foreigners now can apply for a 30 days single entry e-visa easily and get it done online after 3-5 working days. However, since the visa portal has just been reopened it doesn’t work smoothly. Sometime it has a problem with visa delivery and the applicants may wait longer to get the results.
It is a serious problem if you applied for a visa at the close date to your departure as you may miss your flight as you did not get the visa done on time.
We suggest that you should plan your trip with the provisions for unexpected situations that may occur and apply for Vietnam e-visa as soon as possible. The safe period of 7-10 days before your departure is recommended.
What to do if your e-visa application is still “in processing” mode on the last day?
In case, you can not get the visa done on the 3rd days and you will leave on the 4th days (from the day you applied for a visa), you may need our rush visa service.

As the visa information can not be changed after the visa is issued, you must immediately re-apply for new visa when a mistake is found. The visa application process will start from the beginning and you have to wait another 3 – 5 days to get the result.
What happen if you have booked a flight ticket and the departure date would be in next 2 – 3 days while your new visa application is still “in processing” mode? Obviously, you will need an urgent service to get the visa done by next day that you can get on the plane.
