The cost of Vietnam visa on arrival and e-visa in 2024
There are 2 kinds of fee grouped into sums of money that you pay once when applying for Vietnam visa on arrival (processing fee and stamping fee) and only 1 kind of fee when applying for Vietnam e-visa (processing fee). The visa fee will vary on the nationality, time of processing and visa type.
Processing fee: The service fee you pay to the Vietnam visa agency to arrange a visa approval letter (for visa on arrival) or visa approval code (for visa picked up at the Vietnam Embassy) or e-visa;
Stamping fee: The fee you will pay in cash at visa counter at arrival airport (for visa on arrival) or at the Vietnam Embassy (for visa picked up at the Vietnam Embassy).
For e-visa, you have to pay the fee once when applying for visa and there is NO other fee charged at arrival airport.
For those who order the visa fast track service to skip queuing in lines at arrival airport, more 35 USD for normal fast track service or 60 USD for VIP fast track service is required.
The visa processing fee will vary on the nationality, time of processing and visa type.
The stamping fee will be 25 USD for single entry (1 month and 3 months visa), 50 USD for multiple entry (1 month and 3 months visa), 95 USD for 6 months visa and 135 USD for 1 year visa.

You will get the visa result in 1 working days or 2 – 4 working hours just in time for your flight check-in. 2. Vietnam visa on arrival
The Vietnam visa on arrival process has been changed since the Vietnamese government re-opened the borders for the tourists on March 15, 2022 after a two-year border closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic. At present, the visa on arrival is beneficial for those who can not receive e-visa in time for the flight check-in. It is applicable for the air entry only.
