German citizens can apply for a visa to Vietnam in 3 different ways:
- Apply for a Vietnam visa in person at the Vietnam Embassy in Germany mentioned above. Kindly be advised that the procedures and fees are subject to be changed depending on where you apply.
- Apply Vietnam e-visa for stay of 30 days maximum with single entry. With e-visa you can travel Vietnam via specific border gates on land, seaports and airports. It takes at least 3 working days to complete an e-visa.
- Apply for a visa on arrival to Vietnam from Germany online and pick up visa at arrival airport
Note: Visa on arrival is available for those who are traveling to Vietnam by air only.
