The Botswana passport holders are suggested to contact the nearest Vietnamese representative office in neighboring countries: South Africa, Mozambique, Angola or Tanzania to get pre-stamped visa or apply for visa on arrival instead.
The citizens of other country, who are living in Botswana wishing to travel Vietnam, are suggested to apply for visa on arrival to save time and cost.
Visa on arrival is an alternative way to obtain a visa to Vietnam in addition to the traditional way of obtaining a visa at Vietnam Embassy or Consulates. It is especially beneficial for those who live far away from the Vietnamese Embassy.
