Vietnam Embassy in Afghanistan information

The Afghanistan passport holders are suggested to contact the nearest Vietnamese representative office in neighboring countries: Iran, United Arab Emirates, India, Qatar or Pakistan to receive pre-stamped visa on the passport.
The citizens of other country, who are living in Afghanistan wishing to travel Vietnam, are suggested to apply for visa on arrival to save time and cost.
Visa on arrival is an alternative way to obtain a visa to Vietnam in addition to the traditional way of obtaining a visa at Vietnam Embassy or Consulates. It is especially beneficial for those who live far away from the Vietnamese Embassy.
Note: Afghanistan is listed as a “sensitive nation”, therefore it is very difficult to arrange visa for Afghan citizens. You should contact the Vietnam Embassy in advance for documents preparation and time saving.
